3. Set up an appointment with Education Support Services for advising on your general education courses.

7. Set up an appointment with Dr. Flores to discuss additional course requirements.

Getting Ready for Student Teaching?
1. Make sure that you have met all of the following requirements:
a) Satisfactory accomplishment of content-area, standard-driven assessments,
b) “B-” or better in Instructional Strategies, Assessment, and Management courses,
c) “B-” or better in all practicum courses,
d) 2.5 GPA (overall, WSU and content) and
e) a completed application packet with yearly negative TB test filed in the ESS office.
To ensure that you have met the requirements of a - d, file your Application for Degree (see FAQ) the semester before student teaching.
2. Complete the online Student Teaching Applicationthe semester before student teaching. The deadline is October 1st for Spring student teaching and March 1st for Fall student teaching.
